Message	time. Hours. I've had my alternator die 50 miles from home and had to drive home on a battery alone, in 95 degree TX heat, in a traffic jam, and still had plenty of juice left. He should have his alternator/battery/charging system checked out at a parts store to see what the issue is for certain. Mike --------------------------------------------------------
